Need help

sorry for bad English (i am from Russia)

I have a problem. I bought a bike with broken front left cowl Suzuki SV400S 1998 (color code Y7M).
then i bought used (scratched) front left cowl for (9$) on auc, but different color (blue -white).

in my city failed to pick original Y7M paint. (Spies Hecker GmbH)

where i can get the original color, guaranteed? (200-300ml)

someone will try to buy paint in "Color rite" store (http://www.colorrite.com/CRPLfactory...imageField.y=2)

Do you know of any paint shops that can match the colour up for you. The SV400 was never officially imported into the UK. So maybe you should do a search on so European or Japanese sites they might be able to help with the colour code for you!

Have a look here http://www.suzukicycles.org/SV-serie...0-SV400S.shtml and here http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/mod...v400s%2098.htm you might be able to find some ino on these sites!

The panels aren't identical between SV400 and 650, but they're very similiar and can be made to fit. I think your SV400 will have one less tab on the front panel than most SV650 panels, but you can just cut it off. Paint with the same code should be the same across all the ranges- I think that's one of the blues?

Alternative is to respray all 3 front panels- 2 different colours side by side looks bad, but with a gap between them is less obvious.

Your english is better than some of the english posters!
