Speedo Rotor & Engine coolant leak

Hi & Happy New Year to all.

First question is how much is a replacement speedo rotor in the UK? My speedo isn't working and needs a replacement rotor. Just want to compare UK prices with NZ.

Secondly, my SV is leaking a small amount of engine coolant near the drain plug. The actual leak is coming from behind the casing and not from the bolts or drain plug. I have tightened all the bolts and replaced the washer from the drain bolt but coolant still dribbles down from behind the casing. Any suggestions????

Thanks :D

Hi there, if it's leaking from behind the water pump casing, then it probably needs new o-rings between the clutch casing and water pump. Unfortunately, the only way to do this is to take the whole clutch casing off. There's a gasket and a set of o-rings in there, and it could be either leaking, but I reckon it'll be the o-rings. What caused it in mine was a water pump bolt shearing- even when replaced and torqued up it never stopped leaking, so the same could probably happen with a loose bolt. I'd want to be sure that was what was causing the leak before I pulled it all apart though, could it be a loose or damaged hose?
