edanger, does the 'e' stand for 'extreme'?
Sorry, thats not too helpful is it. Surely brakes and suspension come first on the mods list? |
Depends what you're doing with it really :) I'd consider it brave, with the SV's bottom end and the K3's rods, but it might work brilliantly. Never heard of anyone doing it with a decent boost though. There used to be a guy on SV Rider who had a trickle system running, but that's a lot of infrastructure and hassle for the advantage- he could've got better results by different means I reckon, for less.

Youve got a pm huni, i know someone who could help/offer some advice..
|
So just what is the furthest someone has taken a 650 engine?
|
There's race bikes out there making over 100bhp... And probably not weighing very much either. But you're talking serious money and serious maintenance, to get something that's still slower than a well race-prepped R6, and o longer much like an SV. But racing has different rules from teh real world of course ;)
The magic number that always rattles around for building on a stock bottom end is 85bhp... Though that's made up ;) |
