Hedge End - drive by shooting required

Hopefully moving to Southampton in a few months, currently waiting impatiently for the guaranteed sale price on my house.
Looking to move to hedge end area, I have many properties on my list, one in particular we would come see first - address in marlborough gardens (address removed - could you pm me for it)

If anyone is pootling round anytime and has their camera phone.... Would be interested in your comments, regarding the parking situation, neighbourhood, barking dogs all that kinda thing.

I thought you wanted someone to arrange some violent street crime to reduce the house values :)

whys that? Is there grim parts of hedge end?
How about Gresley gardens, Brunel close, - just a couple more from my 'no chain' list.

ahh, you mean Marlboro :)
Sorry, I'm touchy just now, trying to buy a house from far away without getting to see any of them, and the clock is ticking. When I get a shortlist I'll be down, come meet you all. :)

the only thing i can advise you on there is that its very close to the railway line. i think marlborough backs onto the track, or as near as damn it. its not a busy station but a fair few passengers use it as a link to parkway (which would be ideal for your new job of course) and then onto london

Thanks - this particular one looks like it backs close to Maunsell way, but I can see the train line some 300 yards north. Hopefully screened by the rest of the estate. :smt020
