Running problems since new battery
 

Since i've put my new battery in, my SV doesn't seem to be a quick revving below 7k, its like a 2 strokers power band coming in at between 6k and 7k

I serviced the bike yesturday, cleaing the air filter thinking it could be clogged causing the problems but it didn't solve anything.

I'm wondering if i could have clogged the spark plugs due to the low batt power maybe giveing a poor spark, they're NGK iridium ones :?

check that no breather tubes have been squeezed up

What breather tubes?

Did you disturb any other bits under the tank apart from the air filter?

Have you checked the voltage across the battery? Have you checked to make sure the terminals are tight??

I doubt its clogged plugs, but its worth changing the plugs as it could just be coincidence and one of them has gone down?!?!

It was running like this before i serviced it and after the new batt :?
