Just an idea...........

One of the many ideas spinning around my head (though, unlike Northwind, probably wont go into action!!)

Have been thinking about putting lowers on the bike, though it is the price that is putting me off. I was thinking about fitting black lowers, rather than silver-blue. My thinking is that the frame, wheels, tyres, aftermarket screen & hugger are black, so it would give it a two-tone colour scheme.

Wot you all think?

Like I said, just an idea.

It would say one thing to me....That blokes' waiting to get his lowers sprayed!

Lowers are for girls. If the bike was meant to have lowers, it would have afull fairing in the 1st place.

Didnt think about it that way Viney, good point.

I prefer to see the 'oily bits' as well, just that lowers would protect the engine (to a certain extent) from road grime

I photoshop-d a blue one if it helps, tried to get the silver, but there is no good photos online.

Bellypans for curvy's, full lowers for pointies.

Otherwise its just wrong...

Once you do a Gixxer front end and find that you can only find a black mudguard - it could work well :D

Oh and I don't think it protect the engine - just hides the dirt :D
