Modified motorbike insurance?
 

Hi guys, my dad has just got hold of an old GPZ 900r but the engine is blown so dad plans to put his old ZX10 engine in it :shock: problem is getting insurance. Usual companies won`t touch it, does anyone know someone who will?

Could try Adrian Flux. They do specialist car insurance and they DO cover bikes. Not sure though...!?

I believe e-bike also cover it, should be covered under engine changes increasing power >10%

try the back of bike mags there loads of ads for things like this :wink:

Try Budget bike insurance. My husband has been using them up until recently and they're happy with heavily modded bikes and are pretty reasonable.

Carole Nash are quite good with daft mods- not many places will touch mine now but they gave me an agreed value policy for less than most would do return to standard. That's pretty fantastic IMO :)

Remind me tonight and I'll ask the Oldschoolsuzuki boys who they use, standard engines are the minority there :)
