Make sure when you come off the ferry you travel via the Antrim coast road. Be very careful on it as there are many blind corners. You can go see the Giants Causway etc. Last years race was fantastic and the weather was great. This might help if you fancy a ride around. http://www.bikerroadtrip.com/ You can always stop for a pint at Joeys pub. :drink:

I'll be there... only 60 miles up the road for me.

Careful.. the police are usually everywhere with mobile speed cameras.
There's usually over 200,000 people at the event, so come early and if possible park on the outside of the circuit, or wait for hours to get home in the traffic.

Look forward to meetin' some of ya'll

Pete

I will be going across too! :D

I am going the weekend before the race to do a whirlwind tour of Ireland in a 5-6 days type of stint!

I was across last yr for the Ulster GP too which was cool!!

There is me and 2 others from edinburgh going and then picking a few foplk up from dumfries area then across on the ferry, so should be a good week!!

Yeah!!

cheers

scooby2102 and i were over last yr ,but this yr im not going  my mates 40th is coming up and were all going over to spain  at the same time as the nw is on :? but id b going again if it wasnt for that .the speed of rutter+co as they go past is verrrrrry quick ,you cant even see the number to know whos who ,just go by the colours.on the race days they close the roads (obv)so if you want to go to a certain point ,get in there first and then you cant get out as there isn,t a way out .bally sally r/bout is good for not actually going 'inside'.you can park the bike there and just watch over the barriers ,and then make a getaway whenever suits you  as opposed to being 'inside' and not gtng 'out' till all the racing is over (5 or so IIRC)but its well worth going over ,highly reccomended 8)
