Ride this Sunday 14th
Forecast promises dry day and they've not started gritting the roads yet. Anyone fancy a quicky Sunday morning? Possibly via a bacon butty somewhere.

Maybe up for a morning ride Mark. Will let you know tomorrow arvo. Where you thinking of going for breaky? |
now i havent got footy, i'm a 90% likely 2 come . Weather dependant ofcourse  .
Edit: if so, where where we going? where we meeting? wat time? etc? |
How about meet at the Oatsheaf pub in Fleet for a 09:30 set-off.
Then work down A30 to A339 (Nice road to Alton) From Alton A32 then A272 to Petersfield A272 through Midhurst, Billingshurst A24 at Horsham to Box Hill Burger Home the quick way back towards Fleet etc along A246 Open to suggestions for improvements or weather related alterations on the day. I'll assume that anyone not there for 09:30 isn't going to turn up or will find those of us who have made it en-route. Map ref for pub. click here for map |
I'm unlikely to make it Mark - got some work to do tomorrow. Have fun.

sorry ppl. unlikely for me 3moz. just got from thepub and dredding the hangover. very doubful i'll make it. lool!

Well, you missed a great ride. Me, a mate on a triumph and some random bloke on a bandit who pulled over for directions and tagged along anyway.
Bit damp to start off with, but once past Alton the roads dried up and the good old A272 was a much fun as ever. Loads of bikes out and Box Hill was heaving. Will def be out again the next dry weekend. |
Yeah yeah I know - no need to rub it in... every man and his dog must have been out today. 'cept me
|
hey was out on more or less the same run yesterday with my other half, just about an hour or two behind you - what a great day for a ride :D (sorry Grant!) And i couldn't believe how busy Box Hill was either! more like a summer's day...

And who would have thought that coachload of topless models would have arrived and put on that impromptu show. Where on earth did they get so much Jelly from on a Sunday?
