where is your scottoiler bottle?
im thinking of putting mine behind the black plastic thing you have to take off to remove seat(by back shock)....but am open to sugestions (curvy sport)
picy not working |
That's the best place IMO, that's where mine lives. There's an M6 threaded hole in the frame there too, perfect. Very fiddly to adjust without taking the cover off though.

Gets a bit warm from teh rear exhaust there though

Blimey, just put one on my SV this afternoon! I've put the doings under the rear seat. So I've sacrificed some of the space where my overtrousers would get stowed. I've realised that most *serious* rides I go out on, I've got a tank bag anyway, so it's not a huge loss.

Doesn't make a huge amount of difference though. I consider it a positive thing- the only time it makes a big difference is when it's very cold, and it makes the flow a wee bit more consistent. I used to have it under the seat and it'd practically turn off in winter. Mind you, mine's an older design, the new ones are supposed to be less bothered by viscosity changes because of bigger ports.
