my sv650 front wheel
after the accident i noticed it was kerbed (well van'd) and ive just replaced the spindle and ive noticed that the wheel doesn't run true :( it has a slight buckle :( ££££££ :( when i say slight i mean about 2mm out where the wheel is kerbed :? would this be ok or does it need to be perfectly true? Ive got a car alloy that is slightly buckled and ATS weighted the buckle out with wheel balancing weights. anyone know?

there is every chance with that sort of damage it could be straightened?
|
i didnt want the cost because its eating into the profit of the bike :?

plus the buyer may notice when test riding

Pretty sure that weighting it will sort out the wobble but I reckon your still gonna get excessive tyre wear

|
just e mailed motoliner, prices from £55 plus postage plus ive got to get the tyre removed and put back on.

There's an acceptable runout in asahitec wheels, I just can't remember what it is  More than you'd think, I seem to recall.
