That is my pointy at mmu
Hello and yes i am a member of the forum and that is my bike at the mmu. :D now resting my bones in the glossop area after many years in madchester. Saw your bike on Thursday at the mmu. Windy weather is good fun as long as you don't get caught at a stand still. HOW did you get on? Home safe i hope! never caused me too many problems windy weather, except when i had an ex police BMW flat twin R80 which was ****ing dangerous in windy weather. Because of the high fairing; great for having a smoke on as you were driving along tho. Must be lots of people from the glossop area on this site??? My sv which is the pointy version has a habit of shaking its head in a head wind, just rocks from side to side. no problem to stability. Must say it is very good bike in the wet also.

Hey ged, didn't see your PM :p
I commute 30 miles each way to MMU. I have a tactic of getting by in high winds by not bothering to turn up on days that are windy :) The pleasures of being a student :p |
