I Tunes to MP3
 

is there any simple way (for someone thats an computer idiot) to convert files that are from I-tunes to normal MP3 (I have been given a CD with stuff on it and can't get it on my Creative MP3 player)

please help this idiot,

IIRC I found a converter program that can deal with this. I'm at work at the mo but will have a look on my PC when I get home...

In iTunes you can specify what format to keep the music in, just select MP3 :)

You can convert songs to MP3 within i-Tunes.

Click on "Edit"
Open "Preferences"
Then "Advanced"
Click "Importing" tab.
There is a window "Import Using", set this to "MP3 Encoder"
Immediately below this is "Setting", you can select from several options 128 kbps, 160 kbps, 198 kbps or custom.
When you have finished click "OK"

Back in the main i-Tunes window select the tracks to convert, right click the mouse and select "Convert Selection to MP3" The track will then be converted to MP3 and stored within the i-Tunes music folder.

It can take a while though.
