Electrical connectors?
 

Anyone know of a good place to buy decent quality electrical connectors, ideally waterproof? Though wouldn't have to be. I've been using crimp terminals but they're fiddly and look amateurish (well, they probably are a bit amateurish for that matter), and for simplicity's sake too plugs are nicer when mucking about with things...

Tandy electrical stores do you have one near you? If not let me know what you want and I'll try and get it for you!!

Or just solder it and heat shrink tube :wink:

Yeah, that's what I usually do but it makes things pretty cumbersome when i want to change a part...

No Tandy near me that I know of, Maplin don't seem to have what I'm after... Which is really just a selection of 2-pin, 3-pin, and the occasional 4-pin capable of dealing with currents up to and including headlights.

Sorry I've just done a search and I think Tandy have gone bust! Is there any radio/CB shops near you they might be able to help!

I thought about asking where you lived when you said Tandy but then remembered you lived up Nurf so might still have one there :P :wink: . Looks like Nurf is finally catching up :twisted:

last time I saw/went into a Tandy I still had a six pack :roll: and that was quite a few years ago :lol:
