Tourist Trophy PS2 Suzuka 250/400 series lap times

The idea is for a bit of a competition on Tourist Trophy for the PS2, get your lap times posted up and we can have a little bit of a leader board as a bit of extra fun, should spice up those dark evenings where you've got little to do.

The idea is that we'll have a sort of mini race series on the Suzuka tracks, between 400cc 4-strokes and 250cc 2-strokes and try and get a league table set up of fastest times. That's the plan anyway, how it'll work out may be another thing but we'll cross that hurdle when we get to it.

The reason I've chosen Suzuka is that there's 3 tracks, which vary in difficulty and aren't too long so thought people might be more inclined to have a go.

If each person makes one post with their best time and then if you beat your best time just update that post with the new best time and the details of where, on what it was set etc.

If we can keep this thread just for the times and leader board. If you want to talk about tips, how to ride better or just general chit chat relating to this, can we we use this thread please.

Anyway, some brief ground rules:

1. Don't fib about your times
2. State which transmission you use, you'll get more cred if you're on MT :D
3. Use of either "standard" or "racing" controls is permitted (standard braking where the brakes balance for you gives the novices more of a chance)
4. Only 400 s-stroke and 250 2-strokes in this series (you'll have to say which bike you've set times on, but the TZ250 is not permitted due to it's obvious advantage of being 1.5 times more powerful)
5. Have fun


Can't think if anything else needs mentioning at the minute, we won't get down to the nitty gritty about riding aids in the game at the moment, thought it best just to give it a pop and then develop from there as is necessary.

NB Times recorded on the Yamaha TZ250 have been disregarded as that bike has far too great an advantage over the other bikes in this class. Rules have been amended to reflect this (just seems to be more fair to me).
