Which sun glasses??
 

Anybody ride wearing sun glasses?

If so any suggestions for what make that fit comfortably inside a helmet?

I cant be bothered to go down the route of changing visors every time it gets dark or overcast, so thought i'd go for the shades option 8)

My lid is an AGV GP Pro so if anybody has one of these and wears shades i'd be eternally grateful for any suggestions.

Get a lid with a built in sun visor - no more than a second to slide it up or down

I've got a Schuberth S1 - great lid

I have many pairs and the cheapest work just as well as my RayBans. Just look for an Oakley style plastic wrap around style. Make sure they have good lenses in them. I have a pair or Furrygan which are good. However i now have a pair of Addidas wrap arounds that have removeable arms and lens!! Dont go for ones with stright arms.

Hmm... I've found the straight armed, wrap around type best for sliding past your ears when wearing a helmet.
I think plastic frames are a must... but the cheap ones work well.

Might just be the arms on my Raybans are a little to long. I find that they push into the lining in the lind, and dont sit on me nose properly

Also helps if there's not too much plastic around the nose section.. I've got some nice protective ones for airsoft which I thought I'd try out on the bike (Heard horror stories about what can happen to glasses in an off if the visor isn't enough...).

There's too much plastic round the bridge of the nose so the limited amount I can turn my head means there's a HUGE chunk I can't see through. Awful on roundabouts... dangerous for lifesavers...

Don't sunnies have to meet the same impact / eye protection criteria as goggles / visors if worn with the visor up?

I have a 10yo pair of Oakley Eye jackets that fit nicely under a helmet. plastic frames and 'bullet proof' lenses. Shame they don't make these anymore, I love em!

get OAKLEYS!
they are all impact tested too.....classed as safety glasses as well as being well cool.

I would have said Oakleys or Arnette's both really good :D

I got bought a pair of the Smoked Grey polarised glasses for xmas and they're great (although admittedly I've nothing to compare them with). Very comfortable, very, very effective at reducing glare. Couldn't be happier with them.
