fully synthetic oil or part much difference?

just put 10/40 castrol fully synthetic oil in bike other than it lasts longer any other benifits ? or is it pointless wast of cash ?

Semi-synth is plenty good enough for the SV. You might get higher oil consumption with fully synth too.
