Power Commander Maps?
 

Hi there.

Bought myself a pointy at the beginning of December in preparation for my DAS (nothing like counting your chickens and all that :-dd). My lessons start in the morning (Monday) with my test on Friday!

Anyway, with my 03 pointy that I bough off eBay for 1600 just being sat there I've kinda been bored and have got the modding bug! Have raided eBay several times and managed to bag a full, nearly new (only been used for 1 dyno run), titanium Akrapovic exhaust for £200 and a brand new Power Commander for £150!! :lol:

I was wondering if anyone has a custom map for this or if they know which official map I should us as they don't list one for my set-up!

Try the PC web site, you didn't say if you were putting a free flowing air filter in as well, got to be reccomended (BMC Race), it is also worth getting a decent custom map done on a dyno - not as expensive as you think especiallly if they have done a few SVs before.

Just look on the PC website, and find the closest one to your mods. I was quite lucky as they list mine. But for now the closest one will make a difference but if you get the chance to, definately worth dyno'ing it. Getting mine booked in this month some time. :twisted:

Bristols only a couple hours up the road so I guess I'll take a trip up to JHS at some point to get it on a rolling road as I've heard great things about them both on here and in magazines, unless anyone knows any good sv tuners closer to Plymouth?

Will download the closest map now in preparation for when my bits arrive!
