Raising money for Musgrove Park Neonatal Unit
 

Hi Everybody

Those of you that know me, will know that sadly my neice passed away recently. Emma was born on 8th January 2007 and sadly passed away on the 18th January 2007. She was born at 26 weeks. The nursing staff at Musgrove Park Neonatal Unit in Taunton did an incredible job of looking after her and I'm signed up to do a cycle ride with the aim of raising some money for the Unit.

If you'd like to sponsor me, I would really appreciate it. The amount matters not a few pence or a couple of quid anything you can spare I'd be grateful for.

If you click the link in my signature you'll find out a bit more information about what I've signed up for. But I'm not completely nuts :D and I'm only doing the 50 mile route on 26th May.

perhaps you should make this a sticky, as i know most members will be willing to sponser you, but the post might get overlooked if nobody replys for a day or 2

Today Portugal is spending €10.000.000 (something like £6.500.000) on this.

I know for some (even most?) the two subjects can't be remotely compared, but it saddens me to see all that money literally thrown out the window when there are (what I deem to be) more worthy causes struggling for survival (no pun intended? maybe there is) because of the lack of funds.
