On the road again !!!!
I would like to annoue that as of about an hour ago I am back on the road :)
Rode off from Itching2Go's garage like a kid on training wheels, but by the time I had done a couple of miles, it all came back to me. Terrorised the A23 all the way home, passed a burning car at the roundabout right next to Mayday Hospital. Thanks to Joe for the use of a chunk of his garage and for helping me (well actually at the end he did all the work). Thanks again to those who were with me when I ditched it and to those who wished me all the best - Rictus you were right the other day when I said a week would fly past - has only been half a week and I was so glad and excited when Joe suggested we fixed it tonight. Still needs the rear panel fixed/replaced, might just order one that is whole but tatty and try my hand at spraying - svspares do tatty panels for £15 and I know they wont have one that matches colourwise as they havent broken a K6 yet. Happy Happy Joy Joy :) David |

So whilst the weather was bad, it was a case of "The doc says I can't ride, so I'll play the medical card, don't want to hurt my shoulder more, naturally!"
Then when the sun comes out, and someone suggests fixing your bike, you jump on it as soon as possible huh? :P Only messing fella (as well you know), congrats on getting back on the road. :) |
Great to hear it, and well done to Joe. |
