Seems to me... That if he'd stayed on his line he'd have been absolutely fine. She was past before he would have been sharing space, and she was so much faster she'd have been out the other side before he was on the power. He panicked... I agree with the folk saying it was a daft pass on a trackday, but I've had worse (from a GSXR thou track bike I'd just passed, total red mist...) and didn't grab a handful of brake- just straightlined the corner and carried on. It's not he standing up that gets him, it's the panic after.

Wonder if she'd be getting the same sort of response if she was a man? :)

Yeah, I reckon it was clean enough and it was him bricking it and grabbing a handful that was the problem ... there appeared to be room from what I could see ... I have run a much tighter ship than that before meseln ;)

Did you notice the speed she overtook the 2 bikes when she first came into shot ... it doesn't look it, but that is a flat out corner they are approaching ... so she is maxed out in 5th, or ruddy high in 6th ... they basically pussied out before she did

Oh and BTW that was a race school and he was a school instructor IIRC ... so they should be used to getting overtaken like that or need to get used to it ;)

Sooz is a really nice lady. Winds me up to see those butt-munches dishing out the personal abuse.

I see nothing wrong with that overtake at all. I don't even race!

I do see some tw@ binning his bike because he was spooked though.

Its the natural thing to do though!! ;) If it were t-other way round we would all be slating him and saying how small his genitalia was etc etc ;)

Regardless of how 'nice' she may be or not be in person, she wasn't taking any prisoners there and her actions could be construed as aggressive ;)

Yeah, but to be fair they weren't racing. If I'd had a few lesslaps left in my session I'd probably have decked the guy that chopped me up, but by th etime I came in I'd calmed down :) It'd have been a brilliant move in a race, but on a trackday it's not on. So I do reckon she was in the wrong to make the move, but she didn't make the guy crash.

It's kind of like when something happens- someone pulls out, or slams on the brakes- that makes a rider lock the brakes up and bin it- even though it's them that creates the situation that leads to the crash, it's still the rider's fault that they lock up and crash.

They were in a race school ... combined with people invited along for winter testing ...

Then 'we' would all be butt-munches too. I'm sticking with the 'holier than thou' on this one because it's a nasty 'tabloid' side of people that they shouldn't do. Nasty and petty. :p

I'm no expert on track days as I've only done one but I had some bloke cut in on the inside of me mid bend and I didn't panic like he did (possibly because I was a noob and I pretty much expected everything because I didn't know what to expect.). :p

Just left me thinking" 'kin 'ell I must be SLOW...."

But I AM a butt munch ... or so everyone keeps telling me!! :smt045 :D

I actually think the vid exonerates her of all crimes not convicts her ... she didn't leave him an acre, but had he not flinched/reacted the way he did, then he would have been able to continue fine .... basically if Sooz was invisible this move would never have been a problem ...

On a side note, this actually worries me a little ... as when I am 'on-it' at trackdays I really do carve my own lines and blast past at quite a rate ... again, if I was invisible everyone would be none the wiser, but there is a good chance that some of my moves might make the non-expecting brick it ... :(

For example Blue Trackday Vid I'd say all clean ... some might say a bit rude?!?! :?
