finally decided to say sack it and get an half decent bike.....just got meself a w, 2000, sv650sy...with only 5k and mint for only £1600....smiling away before i rode it....only ever ridden a cg125, er5 , me lammy and me vespa...had a pop today on the sv and fffffckin love it to bits....

just sayin hello...youll see a lot of me in the very near future on these boards......till i get bored :smt002

i love the sound, the looks, the bike makes me wanna get very giddy....i think im hooked...

ill post some pics if anyone cares to see em and will tell me how to do it.....

i feel ive been missing out quite a bit...the difference between me cg125 and the er5 was massive...i thought i had a half decent bike there....the difference between the er5 and the sv is i llllllllllllllllllllllove riding and looking at my new toy......

enbough of the blabble........cheers for all the advice i had previousily reading old posts that made me buy an sv

p.s where can i get the m5 chrome bolts from that hold the screen down as ones rusts..ive put a temp stainless cap head in there but the proper dome heads look better???

Welcome to the mad house!

I still get that nice warm feeling looking at the SV.

Riding it has dulled a little for me, and it's more seen as a commuter tool, but then, I spend the best part of 2 hours a day, every (week) day, on the SV.

Nice choice in bike, even if it is the wrong shape :P

You could get it sprayed for a couple of hundred £!

Failing that hovis and i will pop around with a few litres of Homebases's finest and do it for a tenner :)
