European travle
Any one know the name of the travel company that offer trains to Spain you can take your bike on?
Looking to get to Valencia... |
Re: European travle
Don't think they do motorail anymore, I always use Brittany Ferries and go from Plymouth to Santander, always found it very reasonable price. Better if you can go with someone as it will reduce the cost. Try their internet site.

Re: European travle
I was quoted £425.00...for that.. or £300 for just a seat for 27hours... for the ferry.. both Pourtsmouth to Bilbo and Plymouth to santander..
WOW.... |
Re: European travle
Thats why I suggested that a few of you go. I always travel with 3 mates and we book a 4 bed room and it only costs about £220 each. You only pay for 1 room and the cost of the bikes isn't too expensive. It's a very easy way of getting to Spain as the boat travels overnight and gets there at about 12.00hrs in the afternoon so you are ready to ride in the sun, all nice and relaxed after the overnight trip.

Re: European travle
France Motorail will get to the France/Spain border overnight (Fridays usually). You can then make your way into Spain. As far as I know, there's not a cross border motorail route.
I use these guys for my trips to Nice (then back through the Alps) but they also go to Narbonne. This site says that there's no Motorail in Spain at all... (Can somebody move this to Eurotour please - that's where it should be.....) . |
Re: European travle
Is the motorrail the same price for Bikes as it is for cars?....
