Knock, knock or paranoia?
Have a 2001 curvey with about 25K on the clock and been noticing that when I slow to about 4500 - 5000 revs can feel some sort of light knocking through the pegs. If I up the revs all is fine, should I be worried or am I just being paranoid?

It wasn't there before, but I definately have been feeling it in the soles of my feet & my ankles for the last few days, although it is slight. Mines a K6 with almost 14k on the clock btw. Maybe she's just getting nervous in anticipation of the summer months... |

This has to be one of the most gramatically confusing Thread titles I've ever seen :-)

Re: Knock, knock or paranoia?
i get a knock when it goes past about 4500 rpm myself both goin up in revs and goin down, granted i havent even taken it out on the road yet but i cant see it bein much different when im actually on the road. Mines a K3 with just under 12000 on the clock...any ideas any1?

Re: Knock, knock or paranoia?
Chain and clutch adjustment might get rid of it. I had on mine from time to time, nothing major to worry about.

Probably chain but also sounds like the engine is about to stall.

Re: Knock, knock or paranoia?
Interesting.
I get a slight, I dunno, ticking or rattling noise at about 4-5000rpm. Doesn't seem to be so apparent with more throttle, as the engine roars more. I don't think it's a problem as such..... |
