Help needed winter problem

Okay so i decided to buy a bike in december cause the weather was amazeing and i was still wearing a t-shirt. 2 weeks later it's record breaking cold and i never got to winterize the bike.. it's a gaurage.. i tried to go out and start it up one day in hope it will work fine...

i was wrong. check engine light comes on. oil light is one.. the fuel injector doesn't even kick on. and i'm screwed. weathers been great the passed few days and i want to go ride but can't.. any ideas one wat it could be?

Do the lights come on? If no then the battery is flat or there's a blown fuse. If yes, do they dim at all when you press the starter button? If they do then battery is probably in need of a recharge. If they don't then the starter isn't being powered, in which case are you sure it's in neutral? Is the engine stop switch on? Is the side stand down? (or the switch stuck, which is the same as if it's down.)

What exactly is wrong? headlights & electrics come on but the engine doesn't start??

Have you checked it's not in gear? or the kill switch?

Sorry, you're a bit faster than I am. And obviously a lot more helpful. Oh well.

Ive had that before where the battery is seriously run down, but it has just enough to get all the lights on but not enough to even motor over the FI. Then starter button.... nothing. Another thought.... you are pulling the clutch in? I know its obvious be hey, ive done it a couple of times. :p

haha thanks guys. um. the lights come on, i pull the clutch. i kill switch is spring released and is out. kick stand is down, in neutral..

it's a fuel injected. and b4 i us to hear the fuel injector turn on. but now i don't. the check engine light comes on. so i don't think it would be that battery. but hey i could b wrong.
