Servicing around these parts

All,

Anyone got any recommendations for getting my SV serviced in the Fleet area. I usually do the oil and filters myself, but prefer to get it looked over profesionally once in a while and it only got an oil service at 15k so will need shims checking too.

I used Hatfields when I had my little Honda and they were great. Propper mechanic who cared about his job. They can do the job unless it needs shims. c£200 all-in

Used Infinity when I got my fork oil changed. Not overly impressed. No care taken so scratched fork tops where they removed the bolts and got my thumb trapped on tank when they put bars back in the wrong place. c£250 all-in unless it needs shims then +c£100

Called into road wheel a few times, but their attitude stinks so have no intention of giving them my bike/mpney.

So anyone you recommend or advise to avoid?

Cheers,
Mark

Have a run over to Steve Jordans - highly recommended by me ;)

Seems you covered most Mark, Ive had bad experiences with Infinity also and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Give Steve Jordans a go as Matt said.

Cheers chaps.

Just spoken to them and not only do they have a loan bike, but they'll even let me do the easy bits (oil, filter and plugs) leaving them to do the bits I am not so confident on (brakes, general check over) so thanks for the recommendation I'll give them a go.
