running from the police
i was sitting in my dorm room i live on the 7th floor so i can see for a ways and i hear a bike running threw the gear hard and police sirens so me and my friend get on the scanner and listen there are 4 cars i saw chasing him and a lot more on the way i was hoping he would get away but we saw a ambulance head to the scene and them say that he didn't have insurance. I was disappointed i thought motorcycles were unstoppable i guess it makes me think off all the times i have ran and gotten away. In the us it is called felony evasion which basically means you get f*** up the @$$ if you get caught i was always told if you run you better get away. i am just so disappointed a bike was caught

Running from the police is never a bright idea, but yes, if you are going to try it, make sure it works. As for a bike being unstoppable, all they need to do is get a helicopter, and wait for you to run out of fuel or crash. Game over. |

Or into a multi story car park? Or into a long tunnel? Or through a long tunnel into a multi in Kent? I'll fetch my coat. |

Hell of a lot more chance of dying running on a bike too!

Re: running from the police
When I got banned for speeding on the M6? coming home from Bristol (150 mile trip) I hit traffic and slowed down then a few moments later a police 4x4 comes flying up behind.
I pull over a lane, he follows...huh? pull over one more...he follows...AHHH CRAP! Apparently they were just about to give up trying to catch me and send someone to my house instead (As I got into their car I heard my name and address come over the radio where they were getting the plate check back) Gutted as I wasn't being stupid just enjoying a nearly empty motorway on a hot day and trying to get a very long trip over with but kind of glad that they did catch me in the end otherwise it would of got a bit ugly. |
