its not knocking its kinda clicking
 

when im riding i can here like a clicking coming from below, it almost sounds like my keys are vibrating againsnt my yokes, (but its not)
any ideas?? like its coming from above my engine and under my tank???

is it after engine is warm

from cold?

intermittent

constant?


could be just heat expansion?...

bike clicks when u stop often as it cools down..? mine clicks like clicky thing.

i thought that but it speeds up and slows down as i do?
to be honest my machine needs a serious looking at, after a major crash it got rebuilt but never serviced, i defo need a new battery and im thinking things like air box and general overhaul too, it misfired twice on me on the commute this morning, but ithink its because i washed it last night and a little water got in the tank, is the most obvious explination for that,
but this damm clicking? stops when ignition turns off??? its beyond me

nope just does the cooling down clicking sound then as warn engines do

my thou makes alsorts of mechanical noises that the 650 didnt make but i'll look into those when the engine stops running.

you could be right it might have been there all along i just cant remember it, i think its coming from under the tank, not the engine to be honest could be the filters maybe?? im up the creek on this one
