Help Bit Dropped Off

http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pic1ww1.jpgDoes anyone recognise what this nut is from?

It was on the Garage floor after I had fitted some R&G CRash protectors. Obviously I am concerned because I had the engine bolt out.

Anyone got any ideas?

Sorry for the crap pictures they are off my mobile.

It's your crankshaft.

Oh, OK, can't see the pic but I reckon it's most likely a funny shaped washer?

Why is posting a pic on this this site so hard?

It looks like a 19mm bolt head, but it has a thread on its inside

Sounds like a 19mm nut then.

R&G provided their own nyloc-nuts with the kit on my ZX6, if you preplaced the engine mounting bolts it may be off one of those, you should, presumably, have an even number left over though?

Its not really. You are better hosting you pictures on photo bucket, or use the sites image shack thingy, then post the image from there. The reason we dont have our own image upload facility is because we dont have the space and the band width as this is a free site for want of a better word.

The original engine bolt is that, a bolt, with a nut at one end. The R&Gs have a threaded bar with 2 nuts. Thats if they are the old style. The new style you will have 4 bolts left over as they are replaced with Hex Head bolts for the R&G's
