Sugar CRM (One for the I.T bods)
Morning all, just wondering if anyone out there works with Sugar CRM at all?
I'm customising it for use here at the office but it's not something I've used before, I can happily make custom fields and drop downs, and I can edit the layouts of the modules without a problem. What I can't seem to find is where the "convert" functions live, presumably they are SQL queries, but I can't get any of my new custom fields to copy their contents accross into their counterparts in "Accounts" when a "Lead" is converted. Only the ones that Sugar have as standard copy, which is a bit of a pain. Any thoughts or even pointing me to an obvious help page would be great. Ta, Jambo |

It's been a LONG time since I used SugarCRM, and your post barely registers as English at the moment.
I've still got access to the systems running Sugar, so I'll have a play later this afternoon & see if I can make head or tail of your problem :) |

Not looked at that for ages, and it was only a glance at what another engineer was looking at!
This link any good for you? http://www.sugarforge.org/ Cheers Rich |
Re: Sugar CRM (One for the I.T bods)
Cheers all, Turns out I didn't have the field names exactly the same under both modules so the data wasn't copying accross....:smt017
Yah lives & learns, Cheers to Baph for the useful links.:thumright: |

No problem, always a chore, never a pleasure. Or something like that ;)
