Knockhill track day time again

Any body doing the track morning at knockhill at the end of the month?

details are Sat 31st March 9am- 1pm for £55

the monday evening sessions are £45 this year for only 2 hours so this is good value.

I've just booked up in novice session seeing as i havnt ridden my bike for about 5 month!!!!

Don't think I can do this one, but I hope to be up there a few times this year.

Sounds great but it would ruin my mental preparations for the crazy golf later in the day.

you'll also be doing a track day in front of all the racers as they are out the next day!!! it'll give them a laugh...

Re: Knockhill track day time again

Novice is a nice place to be... I went into inters last time and, well, didn't embarass myself but I wasn't really comfortable. Partly because I was so slow down Duffus and into the hairpin, since i binned it at the hairpin the time before at some stupid speed, and, well, duffus is SCARY once you start trying to go faster :) I was decently quick round the rest, but it wasn't a great showing... I'd have been much happier in novice, where I'd have been quick, instead of a bit slow in inter.

But novice is great... You can take your time, have a slow lap if you want, etc etc. You're also more likely to latch onto someone you can hang with, which really adds to the fun IMO- you don't want to get lured into racing, but it can get lonely out there when you're not running in the pack, with only the compulsory guy on a track thou with tyre warmers who ought to be in advanced lapping you every third lap to keep you company :)

Highly recommended...
