Re: check out my tat
And I have a new bit added to mine as of less than 24 hours ago :)
4 hours to design, 2 hours to get done - seems to be healing nicely tho. One question (I have only ever been tattoo'd in the US) whats the aftercare recommendations back home, over here is pretty minimal, in fact with this one it was a case of "Well you didnt bleed, so I am not even going to wrap it (they use clingfilm if needed - same as for a fresh burn), just wash it with gentle soap in about half an hour" Photos will be forthcoming once I get home David |

here's how it goes here: rinse with cold water, pat dry with clean towel, air dry for 15 minutes, apply thin layer of tattoo goo, repeat 3 to 4 times aday, (or after being in water) do this for 7 to 10 days. i only bleed during the tat, not afterwards. when i left the shop, they put vasoline on and a gause warp, peace, mike |
Re: check out my tat
Mine are normaly covered for an hour after completion. Then I wash and apply savalon for the first 24 hours. After that I use a moisture-iser from boots that has vitamins A+E. Helps skin to heal! Has worked for the last 10 years of getting tats and I have quite a bit of coverage now! lol Only lost ink once on one of my first and thats cos I picked it! Doh
Avoid clothing rubbing on them as that makes scabs worse and don't get stuck to the bedsheet like my friend did then rip it off! He lost loads of ink! Happy healing! :D |
