Unusual user names
There's a lot of unusual user names out there, what do they all mean ? Mine's boring, I'm old(ish) & called Jack, Northwind's Scottish with flatulence, what about hovi5 ? is it a mistyped s ? Why Baph ? Fizzwheel ? Flamin' squirrel ?
Rubberduckofdeath ? See what I mean. Some sound like rock bands - my favourite was "half man half biscuit". I particularly liked "ice is scary" but we don't hear from him anymore. Anybody prepared to divulge their secrets ? |
Re: Unusual user names
I could go into the long boring story behind mine, but it's much more fun to say "Sound effect from the original Batman series" (thanks to whoever thought it was that before ;) )
But no, seriously for a second, I've been around on the t'inter-web for a long while. Original username for most things was Fire_of_jericho, later changed to Baphomet, but so then folks could identify me, I used Baphomet_foj. This was shortened by most folks to Baph. I can go to quite a fair few IRC servers, or different chat services or forums, as Baph, and people know me (see the next bit - last sentence). Google the terms to get some idea of my background. Non of that still applies though really, and I've been considering an identity change pretty recently :) |
