Problem with uninstalling Linux (Suse)
Until Tuesday I had a dual boot on my laptop with Suse and Win XP. As I was getting short of space i decided to remove Suse using Partition Magic and then try to merge the two partitions together......well I removed/formatted the Linux partition but it wouldnt let me merge the now empty space with my C:, anyway next time i turn my computer on I get the black screen of death with 'LI' in the top left corner. I couldnt get any further so installed a copy of mandrake i had to get some sort of bootloader (which I managed to get onto a floppy). I now have to insert the floppy everytime I turn the computer on.
HELP! I want to uninstall mandrake and have my computer boot up normally! (Oh and to merge all partitions together would be great :D ) |
Re: Problem with uninstalling Linux (Suse)
Stick in a dos boot disk and run fdisk /mbr to restore a windows boot record.
