Suggestion - get your local Help Clubber over

Hello.

I fitted a set of Osram Silverstar headlight bulbs and Philips Blue Vision sidelights last night (see thread in SV tuning, etc).

One side took me ages as I didn't know what I was doing. The second side was a breeze.

I've also fitted an Optimate cable to the battery and cable tied the other end under the pillion seat. Done a few for friends, now.

All this got me thinking.

Why not start a Sticky thread with names of all bikers who can easily perform a certain task and their location? Then, if you have to do some work on your bike or fit an accessory, and you're new to biking, not confident or not a spanner monkey, all you need to do is call your local expert who can come over and help/show you what to do.

Save a fortune on garage fees in exchange for a cup of coffee.

I'll start the ball rolling.

Location - Edinburgh. Able to fit Optimate cables to batteries and change headlight bulbs on a K3S pointy.

If this is too obvious or has been suggested already, a thousand apologies.

What do you think?

Cheers.

Able to remove, strip, clean out and rebuild an mz 125 carb within 40 mins...
can also strip & clean & bleed a pointy's brakes pretty quickly.

But will try anything once*, if it works, sounds good and looks good, will do it again..
*as long as its not my bike, and I take no resposibility for any screw ups, lol :P

Can fill up a K6 with petrol, check oil and use birthday present Abba stand to clean wheels.

Where does the coffee come into it?
