Waiting on Matris?

Just wondered if anyone else out there is waiting for their Matrix fork cartridges? Or am I the only sad get here? (Jdub keep out of this!! :smt018 )

Placed my order 'bout 5-6 weeks ago and PDQ say that they are still waiting for them to arrive....

Re: Waiting on Matris?

Got a call from PDQ to say they arrived yesterday and when I got home today I had a nice (ahem) package waiting for me......

..... Only one little problem - part of it does not fit.....
The bottom part of the new internals ( i forget the name) is 0.4mm too thick and won't go down the tube.
Am I the only one to fit these? Anyone else had difficulties?

lol. Was it a quick job to put the new internals in? Do they set up the damping for your weight and riding style?

Am thinking about going for the matris too, so would b e very interested to hear what they ride like compared to the original internals.

Re: Waiting on Matris?

The valving is setup for 12>14st riders and I think they come with.85 springs, because they use a proper shim stack for the valving they are alot more compliant and not harsh like emulators can be at certain speeds
