Where do you live? As this will affect your insurance.

They won't give a monkeys about the shed and anchor. Mine was anchored in a bike barn and would have been well hard to nick where as getting in the garage would take 5 seconds with a screwdriver.

I'd rather keep it in the barn but the insurance prefers it in the garage. If I keep it in the barn they just class it as parked off street so no cheaper than if I just left it in the garden unlocked.

I am assuming you have zero NCB so maybe £450 to £600 comp?

Get some online quotes from Bennetts and Ebike etc. Also with people like Bennetts give them a ring as well as quoting online as they did it for half the price of my online quote when I rang.

Not being funny but shouldn't you have checked this before you bought the bike!!!!

Try Express Insurance - they're the official Suzuki insurer so that could help with the quote - their quote was about £300 cheaper than Bennetts when it was time to renew and it's a better policy IMO - unlimited mileage and commuting included, which Bennetts wanted extra for...

i find phoning up gets far better quotes. These 'online discounts' are fictional

Agree totally; my quote through Suzuki (Express Insurance) was with NIG and I accepted £270 fully comp - I had no NCB (returning to two wheels after 14 years out of the saddle) but am a lot older (perhaps the only time it's better to be older)

I had tried Bennetts but they were more expensive (OK, only £40) and with higher xs

Has it got a dealer fitted alarm? Can make a big difference if a Thatcham 1

Welcome to the V twin world :D
