Chinese Scooters: anyone know anything???
 

Hey y'all. As you may or may not have read in another post, Mrs Pigbunk had her scooter nicked the other day, and we're thinking of getting a chinese replacement coz they is dead cheap.

Plan is to get it, run it for a year or two then get rid of it (give it away, sell it, whatever). Just wondering if any of you lovely folks had any previous experience of which ones are good, which bad and why really. we like the look of the baotian 125-T7, so any info on that in particular would be great.

I was looking at these, and to be honest they are much of a muchness, all about 10% down on power on the italian or Jap bikes of the same size, but that said, they are very understressed, so should be very reliable,my niece has a 50cc version and after breaking it in, it's good for about 40mph, although it must be said, not the fastest getting there.

Good value, but either sell on quickly or run into the ground.
