We need to get a high quality capture card for our gabs machine at the office, no video will be capture just stills from the video. Still the quality that weve got at the moment is tat as its a cheepo £50 capture card using S-Video from the 2 sky boxes we have.

Now i need to move and start capturing from the SkyHD box in HD, it seems that the only option i have because of HDCP is to get a pro capture card from Blackmagic and pipe the video over component inputs.

If anyone has worked with the Blackmagic cards i would like to know as its a hefty investment in a card that may not do what we want.
