Cheek even ;)
More mature...only in numbers Jay!! You are not going to get much for a grand thats for sure. Youd probably get a battered bike like mone for that, but shes reliable and well maintained, just some batttle scars etc and high milage. Absolute minimum is going to be about £1500 to be honest for anything half decent. That siad, stranger things have happened and i have seen a couple on Autotrader for £1200, but without seeing them its hard to tell. Make sure its had regular oil changes, and is just generaly looked after, just dont expect to buy a minter for that money. It will need somethings doing to it, but nothing that cant be sorted for a few beer tokens, things like Brake overhaul Brake lines(Past thier best after 5 years unless braided) possible cables (Throttle and choke) General good service Fork oil change possible fork seals Possible rear shock (Again past its best after about 20,000 miles - Replace with alternate shocks about £50 second hand) It will have corrosion on the forks, it will have little bits of rust here and there, the paint will probably have flaked off the engine, but as i said, nothing too major. Just look for something thats not as bas as the others. If you find something, then ask on here, im sure someone would have owned it! HTH |

your good 125CC options : if you cant afford from new get a job - if you havent already and get a finance agreemant. these bikes below are the dogs balls mate of the 125cc - full of teenage street cred and gaurenteed chick puller ( ah to be 17 again lol, im only 21 ) trust me if you want a bike to rag around town the sv is HONESTLY not for you, the SV hasnt got the RAG-ability like the bikes below. and if misused the SV will Damage you a lot more than these. AND ONE LAST POINT - INSURANCE, insurance on these models will be Sweet F-all about £300 TPFT ang £600 FC, An SV will cost you about a grand! ALL OF THESE OPINIONS ARE MY OWN MATE, SO DO AS YOU PLEASE BUT I WAS IN YOUR POSITION LAST 2 YEARS AGO - TRUST ME I WAS ONE OF YOU LOL, 1. The Aprillia RS125 - only buy as new in my opinion - they get thrashed http://www.aprilia.com/upload/modell.../big_00068.jpg 2. Cagiva mito 125 - bit like a two stroke 125cc Ducati - again buy from new! but they are amazing + it Has BREMBO brake callipers ! ! ! http://images.nxgn-ltd.com/getimg.as...BGCOLOR=000000 3. Yamaha DT125 - more of a crosser type - trailie - i had one of these, you can RAG the shizzle out of them!!! http://www.yamaha-motor.co.uk/Images...cm46-87145.jpg |
