Re: Bike Safe Event Lytham St Annes:
Strange, last time I talked with Lancs Constabulary they say they do not do Bike safe.
Just done a check and it is the Lancashire County council ridesafe operation. Waste of space they sell overpriced unrecognised training. If you want training go to IAM or RoSPA |
Re: Bike Safe Event Lytham St Annes:
Sounded like it was interesting just for a rideout to see the displays etc.

Re: Bike Safe Event Lytham St Annes:
Well even if I wanted to go to this, which I don't by the way.
1) Rovers are playing chelski in the semis. 2) I can't even go to that by orders of er indoors as for some inconsiderate reason the younger daughter has chosen that day for a christening of her offspring and I am expected to participate. Well got out of the god house bit by doing the catering. But still get the bill. At least the venue has sky sport |

Re: Bike Safe Event Lytham St Annes:
Evening All,
Nice & busy on the prom today, I hope the trade get behind this 'cos it's about time we got summat in this area:thumbsup: I did one of the FREE ridesafe backsafe assessments in October last year and found it very good, the instructor pointed out a couple of things that I know I had slipped with. At the end of the session, the guy wasn't pushy about going down their training route but did advise it would be a shame not to get the qualification considering the standard of riding already. It's what I intend to pursue this year anyway, probably with IAM. Seeya tomorrow Carl - will be on t'hornet:twisted::riding: |
