Sweet, basically did this ride on Saturday morning and it was great, although there was a bit of traffic about after 10am, hope the weather holds up.

One thing (and probably doesnt affect this thread)....

Google Maps/Routes dont know ANYTHING about little things like prohibited right turns etc.

Take this route (roughly my trip to work in the morning) - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...12882,0.040169

Looks good until you know that the 3rd instruction (right onto Brixton Road) is not allowed, neither using the "slip" road as show, or by going up to the junction at Oval Station.

Google maps are great, but not foolproof

you need to go onto the "my maps" option, and then "create map" i think,

then you click onto the icon for "draw line" iirc thats what its called?, then click onto the point and just keep clicking till you get to the end of the line, its a bit sensitive to being on the road and sometimes slow and ties itself up a bit, but with patience its ok

when you finish the line you get the choice to name it and give it some details, right clicking brings up some limited editing options.

you can put marker points in at key points and stuff too.
