Alpinestars SMX-4 Waterproof Boots
 

Just bought a pair of these - http://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/fol...erproof_boots/

Tried on quite a few diff makes and these were v comfortable, more comfortable than the SMX-4 as they have extra lining around the zip. Seem to be a good compromise between winter and summer boots as I can't afford a decent set of both. :)

Can't say yet if they are genuinely waterproof, time will tell!

I've been looking for a pair of boots - these have been looking like favourites after trying them on, how are you getting on with them after having them for a few months?

Gotta say that after 5000 odd miles in these boots they are great. Comfy, waterproof, warm and good to walk in.

Only downside I've found is that they are a bit too hot in the warm weather.

The tow sliders fall off easily to. lost one brushing a curb getting on the ferry and have put them back on umpteen times.

Mine are very comfotable, couldn't be better in fact. Not noticed them getting too warm or the toesliders coming off but mine have lead a relatively easy life.

If they fit well then go for it mate, you won't regret buying them.

Bought a pair yesterday!

Now if I can just find a pair of trousers that fit a wee short ass like myself I'll be sorted!
