Shoei XR-1000 Relic

I am looking for a new lid and I am seriously considering getting the Shoei XR-1000 Relic.

The only problem is that its black, a matte black. I don't want my head to explode on a hot day, but will it would be much of a problem with the tone of black on the lid?
