Micron delta+ can help

I've got my self a delta+ can with removeable baffle but the baffle is stuck solid :( I've stripped the can ready for a stubby job on it and cant see any reason for it to be stuck (I've removed the rivet) :smt088

Its doing my head in!! :-k

That's because the delta+ cans(earlier ones at least) are not designed to be easily removeable ;)

you have to remove the end cap and grind off a weld to adapt the can to make it removable, its been done to both mine.

tbh i wouldnt bother, the baffles on the delta + are only tubes with no resistance anyhow so i just leave mine in, it makes little or no diff to the sound if they are in or out.

I've got a delta plus you can remove the baffle easy..

1) undo the baffle screw holding it to exhaust

2) Push baffle inside can as far as you can

3) look up inside the top of the exhaust and just inside is a bolt holding the end of the can on

4) undo with an allen key, take off the end of the exhaust (the whole end of it)

5) pull out baffle, replace the end making sure not to trap the exhausts packing. Can be abit fiddley but you can do it!!

6) ENJOY!!!

Hope that helps you!!!

I done it:D i had to file down 3 welds that held the baffle to the end cap 8)

The baffle was welded to the 3 prong bracket so no wonder it didn't want to come out
