Stupid is as stupid does...

Just wondered if anyone else has done anything stupid today?

My stupid act of the day is holding on to the electric planer and checking to see if the dust bag is connected properly by pulling the trigger. One of my fingures just happened to be holding the blade at the time. Stupid! :smt021

Tonight I am down a digit as its trying to grow back the face that was shaved off.

That's no good at all. Which one was it?

My most recent stupid move was to throw my mate's christmas tree (he still had it in April, and it was still green ) onto a camp fire in his garden. The flames went higher than the house and we were all far too drunk to do anything other than get burnt to a crisp if it got out of hand.

Still think you got me beat though, I got away with mine.

I'm not sure this beats yours but it did take a fuse blowing 6 times today before i decided that my circuit wasnt good and perhaps i should rewire it... does that count??

Not yesterday, but I did come very close to removing the top half inch of my right thumb on Saturday night with a kitchen knife I was stupidly using to feed beef chunks into my mincer. :pale:

Now I have the patented 'Mr Bump Comedy Thumb'

I've done this also, however I'm not quite as stupid as you  as I only did it three times.

My stupidness begins 4 months back when I unbolted my windscreen wipers to replace the rubber easily. Tighten the passengers side bolt but only hand tightened the drivers side. [-X

Drove to my grandmothers 40 miles away to pick up my Chrimbo present.
Drove back late at night and yes it began to rain on a dual carriageway in the middle of nowhere.

My wiper last 3 wipes before launching itself off the screen and flapping everywhere. I drove another 20 miles leaning over the passengers side to see where I'm going.:smt104 :driving:

Finally made it home with a stiff neck so I decide to cheer myself up and open my present which happened to turn out to be a.............damn multitool! :pale:
