Leather alterations

Anyone know of any good places in the South West that do alterations to leathers (my second hand Dainese leathers are a tiny bit too big). Also does anyone know anywhere that will re die leathers (my brothers hand-me-down Nankai one piece leathers don't match my bike!).

So, to recap: Leather alterations and leather die in the South West. Got it???

Cheers for any help.

Can't help with the alterations bit - but as for the change in colour, unless you want to change it to black you may be on to a bit of a nonstarter to be honest.

Unless they're white to start with that is.;)

Can't help with the re-die but is Farnborough too far for you? Can definitely recommend Nine Lives for alterations.

There is a place in Slough that will sell you a kit to dye your leathers. I am thinking of dyeing the white panels black on mine. Still looking for a company that can do it for me instead of doing it myself. The kit costs £40 and comes with everything needed including cleaning fluid and spray applicator etc. If you want the contact number i will see if I can find it. If you do find somewhere that will dye it for you let me know.

Ginger. Could you send me that number as it may come in handy.

The leathers I want to die are red and white. I want to die the red bits black and the white bits blue which I can't see much of a problem with.

Got a whisper of my brother that he thinks a friend of his may be able to do this, will let you all know if she can.

Heard good things about Nine Lives but Farnborough is a bit of a trek to get my leathers taken in a bit around the waist!

Try Stallion leathers, not far from Swindon, Wiltshire.
www.stallionleathers.co.uk

Or look up Cobra Leathers in Swindon.
