I surpassed even myself (servcing etc)
Mods, wasn't sure where to put this, so :p
Well, I got the SV ready (read: moved it in to place, sheet under it so I could lay down etc), tools ready, and started the service. Then my mate called round for his bike, picking it up after his holidays. "Wanna come out for a play?" To even my shock, I resisted & kept working on the bike. And it was sunny! Later on, he came back, saying he'd borrow my tools, and had brought beers. I didn't think it was a great idea completing a beer induced major service, but I quickly came around to his way of thinking. So we serviced both bikes (him doing a minor service) & drank beer. I did everything on the service except for valve check & throttle body sync. I'm impressed with myself :) I never got around to washing the bike though, and now I can't go for a ride, because I've been drinking (didn't think about that before) :( P.S. Hovis, yes, I did remove them! |
Re: I surpassed even myself (servcing etc)
Bloody well done :D I dont think I could service my bike myself sober whilst hooked up to a caffeine solution drip. I can, however, fit a Givi monorack thing alone, and I did get enough panels off to check my rad fluid level.
I'm sure I'll learn more as I go along and have to rely less and less on my dad... Matt |
