OK So I have a fancy dress birthday party to attend on May 4th and the choice of outfit came down to:

Ninja/Pirate/Policeman/Other.

As with all choices involving Ninjas and Pirates in the same poll i decided that it HAD to be a forum vote as that is the ancient tradition for settling such a matter.

So what do you think I should go as and where do the Larpers suggest i can get a good get up :)

How about a ninja pirate, you could secrete yourself at the party in a ninja stylee and ever so often jump out screaming for rum and dubloons whilst leering at the women in a piratey fashion....dont forget the parrot ;)

As one of the aforementioned LARPers, my garage is a pretty good place for gettign fancy dress kit :), have a nice pair of LARP Katana like swords - best of all is my Basket-Hilted Katana bladed sword :)

How about you get some camo trousers and a khaki sleeveless t-shirt, add some camo paint to your face/arms, grab your Airsoft Kit and go as Arnie in Commando ??

Or if you can get the kit, paint yourself blue and go as Rogue Trooper (read 1st comic strip thanks to the BBC here (I know someone who did this using acrylic paint :)

Now where can I get me some of them larpy swords before may 4th :)

Hmmm maybe I can ride there as a Pirate, on a ninja?
