Because im thinking of getting a car again!!!

last year i made the decision to get rid of my car, and ive managed to get through a whole year with only needing to borrow a car about 3 times, and i was totaly fine with that.

But with the rain weve had its brought all the diesel up out of the road and no joke its ALL the way to work, and making me feel quiet uneasy on my Daytona.

Ive found myself wishing i was traveling to work by car, and i really dont want to go out on my bike when its wet, is there somthing the matter with me?

You are being sensible??

I mean I'm not a fairy weather rider but what is the point playing it mucho and going out and half a mile down the rode you slip on diesel?

I prefer to have the bike in one piece (and myself as well) and go around in a car when the weather is bad.

manchester is just a joke. theres foot wide spills of diesel for miles!just make sure you're buying a car 'aswell' :thumbsup:

What you have there is a pretty mild case of Kwakitis!

If you find you can't put the autosol tube down, then you really need help urgently.

Hmmm, managed about 15 year without one, every ride no matter what presents it's own challanges, that's part of the fun, but if that's what you want, then do it.

Personally, even the prospect of driving I find defeatest, although the wife offered to buy me a new automatic car, even with my current limitations I went for a scooter instead, but then perhaps that just shows I'm the mad one, which will come as no surprise to anybody.

Roads are always slippery after a dry period with no rain, it'll pass. Its just part of biking.

It all depends what your personal needs are. I need a car for work but I also like cars and enjoy driving but not as much as biking. The bike is a toy/hobby which I love.

It would have been a nighmare collecting my stone paving from Burford, or bags of cement from B&Q on the tona, not to mention the 'weekly' supermarket run!! How do you guys pick up your 24 pack of Stella or Nukey Brown? Nooooo a car is essential!!:p

Well i for one would not be without car or bike myself as there is too much stuff a bike cant do!
